陳建銘表示，北市府公務汽、機車有9831輛，近3年半的交通違規案件總計3772件，扣除執行緊急勤務等狀況，還有3172件。其中罰單數居首位的警察局，光是違規停車、超速和闖紅燈，就高達1690件，身為執法人員卻帶頭違規。
對此，副市長周麗芳辦公室專委林得銓表示，若因執行緊急公務造成違規，可以申請要求銷單，針對不應該出現的違規行為，市府往後也會要求各單位建立標準流程，違規同仁接受交通規定開罰外，還必須接受額外懲處。
交通大隊副大隊長陳金城說，警局公務車部分，執行緊急勤務時鳴警笛示警，可事後銷單，一般勤務可憑藉相關資料認定撤銷罰單。後勤科股長林永松也表示，警局公務車若不是因執行公務違規，違規人須自行繳納罰鍰，也會研擬相關行政處分規定。
